Non-knitters seem to have the idea that knitting is a linear process. A knitter chooses a pattern or project. They then purchase the required yarn. They knit with it. The project and the yarn is finished. They choose a new project. They don’t have a stash, they only have one project on their needles at a time, they are not concerned with the next project...

The thing about crochet hooks is that they all looked the same to me. Yes, sure, I realised that some hooks have a sharper edge than others, and yes it does make a bit of a difference.
