Many people email us looking to make a giant merino blanket / throw. You may place a custom order for this wool from Natural Yarns ~ Please see the information below and contact us with the amount of wool per colour per 250g that you would like to order. The wool has been prepared for arm / big knitting / crochet and there is labour involved with the preparation of this wool. This wool is made to order, and there is a lead time of 2-3 weeks minimum.

BIG CROCHET / KNITTING MERINO WOOL THROW:

Dyed, the price is R345 per 250g for 100% merino wool.

Undyed (off-white) is R225 per 250g 100% merino wool.

You will also need a felting needle (or three) to join the yarn between the 250g balls.

QUANTITY:

Typically you will need 1.5kg for a 3/4 “throw” (to put across the bottom end of the bed, not to cover the full bed) and around 3kg for a king size bed throw (size depends on tension and how many stitches you choose to cast on).
