Monks Cloth

High quality Monks cloth for rug hooking and punch needle.

Monks cloth is the most common backing fabric used for punch needle projects.

The fabric is soft but durable making it easy to punch into when stretched tightly on a frame or hoop.

This fabric is also great for other embroidery and cross stitch projects that require a nice soft backing e.g. for cushions and other interior projects.

Due to the loose weave of the fabric the edges are prone to fraying so please handle with care. We recommend finishing the edges by overlocking/serging them.
