It is an Aran weight yarn. It’s exceptionally soft and luxurious. Any suitable Aran weight yarn can be used for this project.

This hat is knitted in the round on circular needles, using magic loop. It’s a fairly simple project and is so exceptionally luxurious and warm.

MATERIALS

  • Nurturing Fibres Spaghetti Aran 100g (130m / 142 yds), or any other suitable aran weight yarn.
  • 4.5mm / US7 circular needles including cable, 80cm / 32inches long
  • 5mm / US8 circular needles including cable, 80cm / 32inches long
  • 1 stitch marker
  • Needle to sew in ends
