Flower Power Tea Cosy by Jenny Whitehead

Flower Power Tea Cosy by Jenny Whitehead

A modern makeover of the classic tea cosy, this quick knit makes a perfect gift. The two-tone body is capped with a posy of bold flowers that take full advantage of the firm hold that you get from 100% natural wool. The pattern offers some challenges for intermediate level knitters: colour weaving and a ruche technique to create thickness in the body, short rows and grafting for a seamless circumference of the flower petals.

  • Pattern & Kit –
Your colours are weighed out in the correct quantities so you have the right amount for your cosy.
  • Pattern –
Buy the pattern & use your own yarn choice (we recommend Adele’s Pure Wool DK. As an alternative, you can use Nurturing Fibres SuperTwist DK)
  • Enter the Lucky Draw –
and stand a chance of winning a knitted cosy! (teapot excluded). Entries close on 31 December. Proceeds go to Wild Rescue and The Lighthouse Fund.
  • Purchase Ready Made –
We have a second cosy, made by Jenny and ready to send to you! Spoil yourself or someone you love! Proceeds for the sale of this tea cosy will go to Wild Rescue Wildlife Sanctuary and Nature Reserve {Teapot not included – colours as per image}.
