Hello Natural Fibre Lovers!
There is snow capping Cape Town’s surrounding mountains ~The icy wind has been carrying the cold straight off those mountains and the sea, making for a very chilly time here on the Cape Peninsula. This means much fireside knitting and spinning so it’s not all bad!
Natural Yarns HQ will be moving (not far, just up the road) by the end of the month which is very exciting news as I will have more space to display the shop, making it more conducive to those of you who like to come and browse. I will also have a dedicated yarn dyeing station for Stellar Fibreworks! *so excited!*
In the meanwhile, we have some lovely new yarn & fibre craft supplies in stock online:
The latest batch of hand crafted yarn bowls has arrived and is available on our website!
We know you love South African themed project bags, so we have been working with A Love Supreme, who we commissioned to put together some drawstring project bags and little zip notions pouches in some of their gorgeous prints!
The project bags are made of printed on 260gsm canvas, and the pouches are lined with cotton twill & finished with a plastic zip that won’t snag your yarn.
Find them on our website here.
A new selection of Karoo Moon’s Sock wool has just arrived and is live on the website.
We have also added their new yarn “MoonLite” – a luxurious sock weight singles ~ perfect for scarves, shawls or lightweight hats and bigger garments.
The long awaited Stellar Fibreworks update will go live this evening at 8pm!
A selection of one-off colourways in the following yarn bases will be available:
